There are 2 methods in the Dukan diet

Classic Method Dukan

This is the STRONG Method for losing weight quickly and significantly, safely and without hunger or calorie counting. The four phases of the classic method :
1. Attack phase
This first stage lasts between five and ten days and promises immediate results. Dieters have a choice of 72 protein-rich foods and absolutely no carbohydrates are allowed.
2. Cruise phase
While pure protein days continue to be encouraged, carbohydrates are slowly reintroduced in the form of 28 pre-approved vegetables. Dukanites remain in this phase until they have reached their ‘target weight’.
3. Consolidation phase
Foods previously banned, such as fruit and dairy products, are gradually reintroduced.
